France Visa (Schengen)

The 15 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.

All Visa Applicants have to personally come to VFS - French Visa Section for finger printing purpose as they are now issuing a Biometric Visa

*Tourist*	Passport - Should be valid for at least 6 months from intended return date (Please give current and all previous passports also) Financial Documents - Last two years - original Income Tax Returns, 3 - 6 months bank statement, Balance Sheet, Salary Certificate etc. Return Confirmed Tickets Three Passport Size Recent Coloured Photographs with white background. Photograph should be matt finish. It should be a close of the face (i.e. 75% of the photographs should be of the face) Travel Insurance Hotel Confirmation - Paid hotel confirmation / fax from hotel. Tour Itinerary Covering letter requesting for Visa. The above list of documents is a suggestive list. On a case to case basis additional documents might be required.

It should be a close of the face (i.e. 75% of the photographs should be of the face) Travel Insurance Invitation, with inviting party mentioning that they are making arrangements of stay. If this is not mentioned seperate hotel confirmation will be required. Covering letter requesting for Visa on Official Letter head. Visiting Card. For Passengers applying for first time, it is also recommended to attach copy of correspondence with your French Counterpart. The above list of documents is a suggestive list. On a case to case basis additional documents might be required.
*Process*	First we have to take an appointment for submission of application. (There could be a lag in getting the appointment date). - To obtain an appointment we need a copy of the passport and also need to know the type of visa required. On the allotted day, we will make the application with VFS Mumbai. On the next working day the applicants will have to visit the VFS French Visa Section at Churchgate, Mumbai for fingerprinting. Passports will be handed back to the applicant with the visa.
