The exotic Island of Mauritius lies in
the Southern Hemisphere, just north of the Tropic of Capricon in the
Warm Indian Ocean. There is much more to Mauritius than just sun,
sea and sandy beaches. The island has a diverse physical character,
mountains (800 - 900 mts high) with a huge central plateau, a deep
gorge surrounded with thick tropical forests with fascinating flora
